Master Coach, Raymond T. Coppola

Raymond Coppola founded The EMPOWERMENT Coaching Clinic over twenty years ago, utilizing his theory of success with thousands of clients, both adults and children.

Author

Mr. Coppola is the author of the exciting book, “Successful Children”. He had an article published in TV Guide on utilizing television for children as a learning experience and his recently published ground breaking book titled “Empowering Children For Success” will present a unique approach to parenting and teaching that will work for every child.

Teaching & Mentoring Experience

For years he was a teacher of average children as well as children with disabilities and an administrator and curriculum specialist for the private and public schools of New York City. He instituted the first individualized program of instruction for children with disabilities for the NYC Board of Education and gives seminars and lectures to parents, teachers, college students and inmates.

Corporate Experience

Besides his teaching and coaching career, his vast business experience includes working in sales and management and serving as President and Executive Director for numerous companies including: small, family owned businesses, associations, and major conglomerates. During his second year at the world-wide firm of Macmillan Publishing, by utilizing the same empowerment techniques he now shares with his clients, he increased his sales territory by 26% while the average sales increase for the company that very same year was only 6%.

Entrepreneurial Experience

Mr. Coppola has been successful in numerous entrepreneurial endeavors besides coaching including: an independent sales rep firm, International Sales & Marketing Associates; a consulting firm called, The Coppola Group, working with hundreds of magazine publishers in the consumer, business-to-business and association categories. In 1997, he created “WE Magazine”, a lifestyle consumer publication for people with disabilities.

Experience With Empowered Individuals

These avenues gave him the rare opportunity of meeting very successful individuals like Mayor Rudy Giuliani who served as Master of Ceremonies for his opening of “WE”; interviewing iconic figures like Mohammed Ali, former Miss America, Heather Whitestone and renowned physicist Steven Hawkins. His Board of Advisors included other successful individuals in varied fields such as politician Lowell Weicker, former Governor of Connecticut; actress and singer Julie Andrews; business leader Michael Drexler, president of the world-wide advertising agency Bozell, Jacobs, Kenyon & Eckhardt; author, therapist and activist Dr. Ruth Westheimer; and former White House advisor and author George Covington. He attended the White House Rose Garden ceremony when President Clinton signed the Second Disabilities Act.
